Three days of celebration for Italy’s most significant event dedicated to FIVI independent winegrowers.
What to expect from FIVI Independent winegrowers’ market
- 1008 Italian winegrowers
- 2 delegations of international winegrowers
- 32 indipendent olive oil producers
- Over 8000 wines available for tasting
- more than 60 venues Bologna and its province hosting “Fuori Mercato” events over the weekend
After the success of the 2023 edition, the FIVI Winegrowers’ Wine Market is ready to celebrate its 13th edition from November 23 to 25, 2024.
“Wine lovers and professionals will have over a thousand great reasons to visit the Wine Market,” jokes Lorenzo Cesconi, winegrower and President of FIVI – Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers. “But for us, it’s not about the numbers: at the Wine Market, as in our vineyards, we are committed to achieving the highest quality. Our goal is for the Wine Market to be a welcoming space where producers can exchange knowledge and experiences and where producers and consumers can meet directly, without intermediaries. For a few days, it feels like we bring our wineries to BolognaFiere, offering visitors the same hospitality they’d experience on our estates.”
How to Get There and Special Offers for the FIVI Independent winegrowers’ market
Bologna’s central location makes the Wine Market easy to reach, whether by car or public transport, particularly by train.
Visitors can get up to 75% off Frecciarossa tickets with Trenitalia’s ‘Special Events’ offer. Tickets can be purchased through the Trenitalia app, ticket offices, authorized travel agencies, or the Trenitalia website.
Once in Bologna, visitors arriving by bus or taxi at Piazza della Costituzione can take advantage of free shuttle buses to the East Michelino entrance.
For drivers, the Michelino multi-storey car park offers 5,500 spaces. It is conveniently located near the North and East entrances, with easy access from the Bologna Fiera highway exit.
