The 107th edition of Pitti Uomo will take place at Florence’s Fortezza da Basso from January 14 to 17, 2025. Over these four days, the event will spotlight the Fall/Winter 2025 collections from approximately 786 brands, with 45% hailing from international markets.
Pitti Uomo offers an immersive exploration of menswear and its evolution, laid out in an exhibition format that spans five distinct sections:
- Fantastic Classic
- Futuro Maschile
- Dynamic Attitude
- Superstyling
- I Go Out
This structure provides a comprehensive perspective on the multifaceted world of men’s fashion. Each edition reaffirms the event’s role as a key platform where brands and designers unveil fresh ideas, innovations, and partnerships to a targeted audience.
For this 107th edition, two guest designers take center stage: Satoshi Kuwata, presenting the first runway show for his brand Setchu, and MM6 Maison Margiela, debuting an exclusive all-menswear collection created for Pitti Uomo. The Fortezza will also host a variety of new features, presented in creative formats that integrate fashion with art and photography.
International collaborations are a key feature of the event, showcasing contemporary fashion trends through renowned brands, innovative designers, and the growing lifestyle segment.
“Fashion is undergoing a complex transition phase, and we at Pitti Immagine cannot simply stand by and observe. This edition of Pitti Uomo will reflect both cultural and business perspectives. It will highlight the new demands emerging in international markets. It will also explore the trends and consumer behaviors driving notable cultural phenomena and specific demands. For example, we’ve emphasized the product mix, daringly blending fashion with lifestyle. And the focus on running will be particularly exciting,” says Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine.
The new theme of the winter Pitti Immagine shows: FIRE
Fire – at once a unifier and a divider, the essence of all beginnings. Epic and mythical, sacred yet ceremonial, it stands as both ally and adversary, captivating and commanding with its magnetic allure. Fire is the paradox of creation and destruction, a force of renewal and disruption. It is woven into the fabric of cultures past and present, the mundane and the extraordinary, the functional and the symbolic. It burns with countless flames: fleeting, creative, passionate.
Fire lingers as embers, unpredictable and resilient, capable of reigniting without fading away. A source of life that destroys to rebuild, it signifies endings that pave the way for new beginnings. Infernal yet enchanting, dramatic yet dreamlike, fire is both a spectacle and a quiet presence. It is brimming with the power to transform. A friend and a foe, fire holds its value in the act of burning, enduring like the breath of a Fire-Eater.
